James (JT) Ferrin, CFP®

LPL Financial Advisor

Experience matters. Since graduating from BYU in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning, Jim Ferrin has helped hundreds of clients to plan and invest for a retirement future.

Jim founded Ferrin Capital Advisors 26 years ago (Sept. 1993) in Orem, UT. In 2010 we moved to our present location in Pleasant Grove.

JT graduated from with a Bachelors Degree from BYU in 2012 and has worked with Ferrin Financial Advisors since 2013. He currently holds the series 7 and 66 licenses with LPL Financial. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional.

JT served as a member of the Utah County Sheriff Search and Rescue team for 5 years. He loves spending time with his family in the outdoors. He is an avid rock and ice climber, skier, and mountain biker.

Lindsay Cook
Administrative Assistant

Lindsay has worked with Ferrin Financial Advisors for 17 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from the University of Phoenix.

She grew up in Orem, UT and currently lives in Saratoga Springs.

She has 2 children, a daughter who’s 12 and a son who’s 9.
